⭐ Role Overview
As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a talented People Operations Manager to elevate and drive the team to operational excellence and efficiency. Reporting directly to the VP of HR, you’ll lead a team of 5 in a role that blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You will own process optimization, tooling, compliance, and analytics while remaining actively engaged in daily operations. ⭐ How will you make an impact?
- Lead, mentor, and develop the People Operations team, fostering growth and readiness for future challenges.
- Drive strategic HR initiatives by improving tools, workflows, processes, and integrations, focusing on automation, scalability, and delivering a best-in-class employee experience.
- Oversee global payroll operations in partnership with external providers and internal Finance teams, constantly seeking opportunities to improve efficiency and introduce automation.
- Own compensation and benefits operations and contribute to strategic decisions with stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, particularly in Spain, UK and USA, and support the implementation of local regulations across new markets.
- Support social audits, ESG initiatives, and compliance risk management efforts.
- Leverage people analytics to drive data-informed decisions, ensuring high data accuracy, reporting excellence, and SLA compliance.
- Oversee and scale core HR processes across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, data management, documentation, etc.) ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Partner closely with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, IT, and other departments to ensure aligned and scalable HR support across functions.
⭐ What makes you a great fit?
- You bring 6+ years of experience in People Operations or HR Services, ideally in fast-paced, international environments.
- You’ve led and developed high-performing teams for at least 2 years, and you enjoy helping people grow.
- You have deep knowledge of Spanish labor law, and you’re comfortable navigating HR operations across multiple countries—especially in Europe or the U.S.
- You’re bilingual in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
- You’re all about scalable processes, and love spotting opportunities to optimize, automate, and streamline.
- You have a strong project management mindset and know how to roll out new tools and workflows with impact.
- You’re tech-savvy, quick to learn new systems, and confident using modern HR tech.
⭐ How can you earn extra bonus points?
- Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment, especially in building processes from scratch.
- Studies in labor law or a related legal background.
- Familiarity with freelance/contractor management.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Personio and Notion.
