Job Description

The Recruiter is responsible for Service Excellence throughout the recruitment cycle. You will act as a brand ambassador for BD, focused on delivering exceptional talent while providing proactive and timely communication on the status of the search. You will serve as subject matter authority in talent acquisition and provide consultative direction and industry expertise to your hiring leaders.

  • Work Location: Hungary / Poland / Spain
  • Work Arrangement: remote
  • Work Schedule: standard office hours
  • Specific requirements: Minimum of C1 level of French & proficient in English. Additional European languages (/Spanish/Italian/German) would be advantageous but not mandatory.

You will run the full recruitment life cycle from management of the briefing call through to offer management, and will recruit for fixed term and permanent hires from entry to Management level across BD France. This could include commercial, functional and manufacturing positions. Key accountabilities include:

  • Lead a detailed job scope meeting with the hiring leader to determine position specifications, providing relevant market data and recommendations on possible approaches to the search or candidate requirements.
  • Utilising available tools, build an engaging and attractive advert to attract candidates.
  • Develop and lead recruitment marketing plans or sourcing plans to determine the most appropriate candidate sources that align to the search requirements.
  • Timely review of applicants who have applied via the ATS, and evaluation of candidate qualifications against position requirements and figure out who to move forward in the recruitment process.
  • Source candidates via resume databases, search engine and networking sites using Boolean search language as well as solicit and pursue referrals from business networks and/or internal referrals.
  • Conduct professional and thoughtful phone interviews that are infused with industry/role specific probing questions as the conversation/interview requires.
  • Keeping candidates engaged in the process, preparing them for interviews and coaching them on logistical information, interview schedule, appropriate attire and overall expectations. Providing them with timely updates as the need arises.
  • Partner with hiring managers to agree offer details, using market data and compensation guidelines to support recommendations.
  • Manage and articulate job offers to candidates and work towards candidate acceptance, anticipating and negotiating counter-offers as appropriate.  Support the offer administration process.
  • Provide accurate and regular reporting of recruiting activities to the hiring manager and Cielo leadership to depict both metrics and efforts.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum of three or more years’ recruiting experience with proven successes in a corporate, RPO or agency setting. Experience using recruitment technologies such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and social media tools.
  • Experience recruiting for large complex and matrix organisations is required, life science sector preferred
  • Fluent in French and English. Additional European languages (Spanish/Italian/Spanish) would be advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrable stakeholder management

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Proficient in Boolean search techniques for sourcing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using recruitment technologies such as Applicant Tracking Systems (workday preferred), social media tools and AI technology.
  • Knowledge of common Human Resources principles, practices and metrics related to talent acquisition.
