GoodRec started 3 years ago with a small community in Brooklyn, New York. Since, we have grown into the largest pickup sports app in North America. With the GoodRec app, finding a one-off pickup game, league, or tournament near you is fast and easy. All you have to do is tap the app, join a game, and show up ready to play!

What you’ll do:

You will play a pivotal role in helping people connect with their local community and play the sports they love. As an operations associate, you will be a key member of the business development team working on driving growth and profitability to deliver the best outcomes GoodRec players. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Game Analysis: Analyze game revenue and profit and make strategic decisions in the team on where to expand games.

  • Game Operations: Book game times with facilities, schedule payments, add games to the app, and make sure every game has the right format and information advertised.

  • Game Experience: Monitor and improve the overall player experience and product, focusing on match quality and app usability.

  • Communications with clients: Build relationships with facility managers and ensure excellent client support.

  • Problem Solving: Investigate and identify potential issues that come up at the games, and communicate effectively with the facility.

The ideal profile:

  • Strong analytical background, tech-savvy, and an intermediate level of Excel skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn new skills quickly.

  • Problem solver and capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Proven ability to meet goals and KPIs within deadlines.

  • Passionate about sports is a plus!

Requirements

Some key requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial-related roles, such as business development, operations, sales, or related fields.

  • Advanced English level: excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
