About the Role
We’re seeking a self-motivated Renewals professional to manage Planful’s customer retention initiatives. This person will be responsible for creating and maintaining healthy customer relationships and will lead the commercial aspect of the renewal process.
The Renewals Manager is an integral part of Planful’s Customer team and will collaborate closely with our Account Managers, Customer Success team, and senior leadership to ensure the long-term success of Planful’s customers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entirety of renewals process, including negotiation and ownership of commercial contracts
- Collaborate with Sales to identify risks and ensure timely renewals
- Analyze usage patterns and customer health metrics to preempt churn risks
- Engage proactively with customers ahead of renewal dates to assess satisfaction, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for growth
- Maintain accurate renewal forecasts using tools like Salesforce and Clari
- Consistently exceed quarterly and annual retention goals
What you Bring to the Table
- 1+ years successful track record of sales or customer success in the enterprise software or software-as-a-service market
- Track record of meeting/exceeding targets
- Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy for customers
- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment while juggling multiple responsibilities
- High level of intellectual curiosity – you see opportunity and growth in learning more about what you do and how it impacts others
- Results-oriented sales professional
- Ability to learn quickly and to adapt easily to change
- Domain knowledge of Finance/FP&A space is a plus
