The Sales Engineering Coordinator plays a critical role in optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales Engineering Division. This position provides comprehensive administrative and operational support, including calendar and logistics management, while proactively identifying and implementing process improvements. The Coordinator also serves as a key liaison for internal teams and customers, and supporting Sales Engineers. Success in this role results in an efficient team, higher customer satisfaction, and increased sales. This is a full-time position with remote, hybrid and on-site opportunities available.
Responsibilities
- Managing the Sales Engineering Division calendars to ensure effective scheduling and alignment between the Sales and Sales Engineering Divisions
- Briefing Sales Engineers on the objectives and key details of upcoming meetings and events (e.g., client meetings, internal training sessions, and industry events)
- Collaborating with the Public Relations Division to manage logistics, travel, and schedules for onsite events
- Acting as a primary contact point for customers, connecting them with their assigned Sales Engineer as needed
- Identifying and implementing improvements to methods and procedures, and creating action plans to enhance Sales Engineering efficiency
- Contributing ideas and support for internal Sales Engineering Division events
- Taking detailed notes during Sales Engineering meetings and distributing summaries as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business Administration, or a related field of study, or equivalent work experience
- 1 year related administrative or coordination experience preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong client facing abilities
- Solid organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficiency and work experience in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Curious, creative, and resourceful mindset
- Knowledge of project management and coordination tools (e.g., Asana, YouTrack, and Figma is a plus)
$55,000 - $65,000 a year
Pay
Based on the Sacramento region, the new hires minimum and maximum target salary for this role is $55k - $65k. This role will be paid hourly.
Inductive Automation’s ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Although it is not typical for an individual to start at the top end of the range for the position, compensation decisions are dependent on: the facts and circumstances of each case, work location, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs.
