The Impact of an Account Executive – Scandinavia (Danish-Speaking) at Coupa:

As an Account Executive focused on the Scandinavian region, you will play a key role in driving Coupa’s growth across Denmark and the broader Nordic market. This is a quota-carrying role suited for a sales professional with a deep understanding of local business culture, fluency in Danish, and a passion for helping mid-market organizations transform their spend management.

Your ability to navigate the unique dynamics of the Scandinavian market—combined with your local language fluency—will be essential in building strong relationships with prospective customers. You’ll work closely with Account Development Representatives (ADRs) and our pre-sales team to qualify leads, develop pipeline, and close deals with mid-market companies (up to USD 1 billion in revenue). This is a high-impact role, offering the opportunity to shape Coupa’s presence and long-term success across the region.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prospect and develop pipeline across Denmark and the wider Scandinavian market.
  • Sell Coupa’s cloud-based spend management solutions to mid-market businesses.
  • Own and manage your regional territory, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Build credibility and trusted relationships with multiple stakeholders—including Finance, Procurement, and IT.
  • Develop customized account strategies based on regional business needs and cultural nuances.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and with regional partners to deliver value-driven, customer-centric solutions.

What You Will Bring to Coupa:

  • Strong experience in B2B software sales with a focus on mid-market organizations.
  • Fluent Danish and excellent English communication skills (verbal and written); Swedish or Norwegian is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of Scandinavian business practices and decision-making processes.
  • Proven success managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles and consistently closing new business.
  • Experience selling value and ROI-based solutions, ideally within finance or procurement tech.
