The role:
Reporting to our Finance Director, you will partner with Marketing, Sales Management, Logistics and across the Finance team to understand and improve brand and business profitability.
You will be involved in both understanding actual results and influencing future decision-making.
Kao Canada Employees work remotely with occasional travel for in-person meetings within the GTA. We offer a salary of $72,000 - $100,000.
What you will do:
- Help develop the annual Operating Budget, formal quarterly forecasts & monthly forecast reviews for the brands
- Lead integrated, efficient processes for budgeting and forecasting across the brand team
- Provide financial insights and make recommendations to support decisions and develop compelling strategies, with an overriding goal to create value
- Provide, accurate and relevant information required to manage the business and support brand development programs
- Develop, analyze, report, and present business metrics and recommendations as needed
- Analyze brand profitability, including sales and cost of sales variance analysis, advertising and promotional spending
- Identify necessary revisions or controls to help deliver financial commitment
- Provide profitability analysis on new and existing products, capital investments and cost reduction initiatives
- Develop analytical tools to evaluate selective promotional event effectiveness
- Provide customer/channel profitability analysis as requested
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
- At least three years of related experience
- Experience with financial systems, analytical tools, and implementation of business performance management tools are also required
- Must have a general understanding of IFRS requirements
- Possess advanced Power BI/Excel skills
