Job description
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll lead development of cutting-edge web applications, focusing on usability, performance, and visual excellence. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers. This is a chance to influence both user experience and front-end architecture on a scale, working in a supportive, remote-first team.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
Translate complex business and design requirements into intuitive, high-performance user interfaces with meticulous attention to detail
Collaborate closely with design and UX teams to deliver visually stunning and seamless user experiences
Drive optimization for speed, reliability, and scalability across applications
Mentor and upskill team members through code reviews and by promoting front-end engineering best practices
Lead architectural decisions related to state management, routing, modular component libraries, and overall front-end strategy
Champion modern automated testing frameworks (Jest, Testing Library, Cypress, Vitest) and streamline CI/CD workflows for rapid, reliable delivery
Proactively research and adopt emerging technologies and advocate for continuous improvement across the front-end organization
5+ years of professional experience building front-end applications using React
Mastery of React ecosystem (Hooks, Context API, Redux or similar state management, etc)
Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript
Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (SASS, CSS-in-JS, styled-components), responsive design, and accessibility (a11y)
Experience integrating with REST APIs
Familiarity with frontend tooling: Webpack, Babel, Vite, or similar
Understanding performance optimization, security, and cross-browser compatibility
Effective communicator, self-driven, and productive in a remote/distributed team
Nice to Have
- Expertise in animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP)
- Contributions to open-source React projects
- Exposure to backend concepts (Node.js, API design, cloud functions)
- Exposure to the broadcasting industry
