The Role:
As a full-stack developer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering robust, scalable, and secure applications using React and C#, as well as incorporating other web technologies like Single Sign On. You will also have the opportunity to work with SQL server and relational databases, contributing to the design and implementation of the architecture of our new platform. In-depth experience building and consuming RESTful APIs is a big plus.
You will work closely with a team of passionate developers, product managers, and designers to deliver the best experience possible for our customers. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational and communication skills, who can work independently as well as collaboratively.
Prior use of Jira and a solid understanding of agile development principles is a plus. This is a remote work position, so you must be comfortable working independently and remotely, and have a strong ability to manage your time and deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable, and secure applications using React and C#
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement the architecture of our new Formulation platform
- Work with SQL and relational databases to build highly performant and scalable applications
- Build and consume RESTful APIs to facilitate data exchange with other systems
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews and testing
- Use Jira and agile development principles to manage your work and deliverables
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure their needs are met
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a focus on React and C#
- 8+ years of software experience
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- In-depth experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Prior use of Jira and a solid understanding of agile development principles is a plus
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills (this person will be working with team members based in Costa Rica and the US and must have verbal and written fluency in English)
