Ubiminds is assisting a client who is one of the world’s largest place to search, discover, and create all the GIFs, Stickers and Clips. They’re the leading brand in short-form entertainment and visual communication.
Meta, TikTok, iMessage, Twitter, Slack and many more all integrate against their API to serve GIFs to millions of users across the globe. They serve over 2 billion GIFS every day to more than 300 million people.

Challenge
As their Senior IOS Developer, you would be joining the Customer Products Team, responsible for build and maintain the apps and services at the core of those experiences.
What you’ll do
•Work closely with product stakeholders, ad sales reps, and design team to build fast and intuitive UIs for the search app, stickers app, and iMessage extension
- Identify technical obstacles early and work closely with the team to find creative solutions.
- Should be comfortable discussing and advocating for the best solution for both our iOS apps and the Consumer Product suite of apps as a whole.
• Take the lead in our bi-weekly app submission and deployment process. Ensure a regular and healthy cadence of delivery is maintained.
- Work to coordinate responses to Apple regarding issues with submissions
• Keep up to date with the latest iOS trends and updates. Candidates should be comfortable discussing and proposing improvements to our internal processes to ensure we have a modern, developer friendly codebase.
• Help to ensure we remain compliant and up to date on the latest Apple and General Privacy requirements.
In order to succeed in this position, you will need
Mandatory skills
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1+ years experience in iOS development, with a strong focus on building and maintaining complex mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of Swift fundamentals, and a track record of working with a modern iOS stack built with Swift, SwiftUI (iOS16+), and UIKIT
• Monitor and troubleshoot Xcode cloud build and deploy process and assist in monitoring and addressing post deployment errors.
• Be able to manage multiple priorities concurrently and keep stakeholders informed as requirements change or questions arise.
• Adopt and be an active participant in the evolution of the Code Quality stan
• Advanced/fluent English skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
• Experience working with mobile libraries like React Native or Flutter and ability to assist with our UI SDK Development (in a review capacity at a minimum)
• Understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and best practices for performance optimization and memory management, particularly in rendering images and video files
• An understanding and deep passion for writing well tested, documented, and observable code. If not experienced with these best practices, a strong self driven desire to learn and implement these best practices is a must.
