Project Description:

A platform for digital products and services that has succeeded in over 10 markets. In the financial year 2025, they achieved key milestones in payment processes in the UK and Germany, enabling revenue generation exceeding £500,000. At the same time, they laid important foundations for platform stability and DevOps.

Scope of the project:

  1. Evolving towards a standardized, scalable architecture.
  2. Introducing reusable order fulfillment types.
  3. Building signal-based workflows.
  4. Preparing for Agentic AI (platform signals, APIs, structural metadata).

#2 Project

Project Details:

Our client is seeking a specialist to audit, re-architect, and reskin their current Mautic integration embedded within their proprietary CRM product, LeadSpark. The existing implementation faces critical performance and usability issues due to architectural mismatches and unoptimized frontend workflows.

This is not a greenfield project. Mautic is already integrated and deployed across multiple tenants with live user data. However, the setup requires major backend rework and frontend UX simplification to reach production-grade stability.

Goals & Scope of Work:

  1. Replace Cron-Based Sync Model with Event-Driven Architecture:

    1. Replace existing hourly cron jobs with asynchronous, event-based synchronization.
    2. Use a queue system (SQS, RabbitMQ, etc.) to trigger updates on change.
    3. Outcome: Eliminate delays and prevent privacy consent mismatches.
  2. Architectural Refactor for Multi-Tenant Compatibility:

    1. Mautic is single-tenant; LeadSpark is multi-tenant.
    2. Refactor sync architecture to support tenant isolation or restructure Mautic to accommodate multi-tenancy.
  3. Complete Reskin and UX Overhaul of the Email Campaign Interface:

    1. Redesign campaign builder, email editor, segment targeting, and preview flows.
    2. Replace or customize GrapesJS and CKEditor for dealer-friendly UI.
    3. Optional: Create standalone UI interfacing with Mautic APIs.

Current Tech Stack:

  • LeadSpark CRM: Node.js backend, React frontend
  • Mautic: PHP-based marketing automation (v4.x/v5.x)
  • Data Sync: Hourly cron jobs
  • Frontend: GrapesJS, CKEditor (partially modified)
  • Infrastructure: Cloud-hosted (details available under NDA)

Deliverables:

  • Architecture plan for backend sync redesign
  • Implementation of queue-based sync
  • Frontend reskin of campaign UI
  • Developer documentation and deployment plan
  • Optional: QA checklist and regression testing suite

Tech stack #1 Project:

  • eCommerce: Sylius v1 → Currently, an upgrade to Sylius v2 is planned, which must be completed by the end of the calendar year.
  • Hosting on Azure (NGC/GHS).
  • CMS: DatoCMS.
  • Frontend: TypeScript/Next.js.
  • Close collaboration with a small dedicated product team.
  • Fluency in English (B2+)- both written and spoken is needed.

Requirements #2 Project:

PHP and Symfony expertise is fundamental for Mautic development. Successful Mautic developers typically possess:

  • Core Technical Requirements

  • Strong PHP programming skills - essential since Mautic is primarily PHP-based

  • Symfony framework experience - critical for understanding Mautic’s architecture

  • MySQL/MariaDB database knowledge - for data management and optimization

  • JavaScript proficiency - for frontend customization and tracking implementation

  • HTML/CSS skills - for template and theme development

  • Mautic-Specific Expertise

  • Experienced Mautic developers should understand:

    • Marketing automation concepts - to effectively implement business requirements
    • Plugin development - for extending core functionality
    • API integration - for connecting with external systems
    • Campaign and form creation - core Mautic features
    • Email template development - including MJML and GrapesJS
    • Advanced Developer Capabilities
    • Expert-level Mautic developers often have:

    • Performance optimization experience - for handling large-scale deployments
    • Multi-tenant architecture knowledge - for enterprise implementations
