A day in the life of a Senior Product Designer at Calendly

The Design Team at Calendly is a tight knit group of creatives who work closely with product management, content design, research, and engineering to craft amazing experiences for our users. We believe that great design starts with talking with our users, and that the best solutions come from interdisciplinary collaboration.

Calendly is scaling its offerings in ways that will impact the efficiency of millions of people around the world. This is an opportunity to join a team and lead efforts that will face these challenges head-on.

On a typical day, you will be working on:

  • Drive discovery work to understand commerce, transaction, and relationship habits to build personas and user journeys
  • Partner with designers, product managers, engineers, content designers, and researchers to improve and refine the Calendly experience
  • Partner with the design system team to improve design patterns
  • Engage with customers to ensure that they are usable

What do we need from you?

  • 5+ years building and delivering experiences for digital products in product-led B2B or B2C companies
  • A plus, but not required, experience designing for commerce, solopreneurs, and small business owners
  • Experience integrating new product lines into an existing product suite
  • A strong portfolio of work delivering quality persona-based experiences, including both activation and engagement projects
  • An ability to flex across projects and teams as needed to provide design expertise and direction
  • Expert design storytelling with an ability to communicate design solutions to leaders and peers,  based on the right mix of customer needs and key business metrics
  • A demonstrated understanding of the levers that balance business goals, team processes, and user needs, and how they affect the production of usable design systems.
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

What’s in it for you?

Ready to make a serious impact? Millions of people already rely on Calendly’s products, and we’re still in the midst of our growth curve - it’s a phenomenal time to join us.
