So, what will your new role look like?

The Senior Product Marketing Manager for ShareGate is responsible for managing the ShareGate Portfolio. The senior PMM will develop critical strategies to bring features to the market, drive revenue, and elevate our positioning and value. The PMM will own product & feature launches, build the product positioning and messaging, understand the customer journey & key personas, as well as understand market & competitor dynamics. Working with a leadership team of marketing, product and revenue directors they will lead the competitive differentiation of ShareGate. We are looking for someone who can turn complex technology into compelling stories across each of your critical audiences - from partners, to end-customers, to internal stakeholders.

Responsabilities:

  • Build and develop knowledge of our IT buyers and users, as well as the customer journey in order to understand who buys, when they buy and why they buy.
  • Define market research, sizing and competitive insights to drive strategy.
  • Builds product messaging that sets ShareGate apart from others in the market through unique value.
  • Establishes launch plans for our new products and features in collaboration with Product, Marketing, Revenue and Account Management
  • Evangelize impact internally and externally
  • Collaborate with enablement to build out impactful training to grow direct and partner revenue.
  • Build GTM and launch process with the Product team to drive release marketing and launches.
  • Continuously refines messaging with ongoing experiments to validate and measure feedback.

As a Senior, in addition to core responsibilities :

  • Work with other Senior Product Marketing team members to build defined processes and strategies.
  • Reference within the team in terms of IT market, competitors, personas, and routes to mrket.
  • Work with senior stakeholders (i.e. Directors and VPs) on driving complex projects/issues.
  • Key measures: release adoption, win rate, conversion and average order value.
  • Quarterbacks voice of customer / voice of market initiatives, including win & loss interviews, market research and trend analysis

What does your future team look like?

Your direct team will consist of Product Marketers, Sales Enablement and the Customer and Lifecycle marketing team. You will also work with Product Managers, Marketing (Growth / Demand, Brand, Content) and Revenue (Account Executive, Account Manager, Partner).

What are the next challenges awaiting your team?

  • This is a $100M+ portfolio that is loved by the market - that means you will be responsible for really understanding this audience and creating a strong strategy to emphasize new release etc…
  • We really want to bring out value and messaging to a goal of simplicity - that means taking a lot technical information and distilling it the key salient points
  • We are beginning to really understand the role of the partner in the business—getting a strong sense of who the partner is, why they matter, and what they care about (which is different from end customers) is critical.
  • You would be working with an all-new enablement manager to rethink how we capture and deliver competitive insights across the business (internal and partners); focusing on what matters to them and how to create the right enablement materials is critical.
  • New products are coming and new features to expand TAM / SAM - need a business leader that knows how to define market, segment, launch, measure.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, product management or customer marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of M365 technology and IT consulting.
  • Past leadership experience of a complex SaaS product offering.
  • Strong understanding of product marketing frameworks, methodologies, and GTM best practices.
  • Proven ability to create compelling content across different audiences (i.e. internal, target buyer personas)
  • Demonstrated experience working with or supporting IT channel partners or IT-focused products.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at multiple organizational levels.
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
