About the role:
You will work closely with the business development team to pitch the solution to prospective clients and support the sales process. You’ll be the technical authority on Contentsquare and will reassure the client across multiple subjects such as implementation, performance, security and the logic behind the stats and calculations in the platform.
You’ll be very commercially focused and will understand how to transfer the feature set of the platform into commercial value for the client. Rapid company growth always brings opportunities and you’ll seek these out and drive your own career forward.
With great passion for technology you are known for being a resourceful person and for finding solutions when problems arise. You’ll be comfortable in front of clients and colleagues and you’ll be able to convince and influence stakeholders both internally and externally. You’ll have a mix of development, analytical and sales skills and you’ll take a very keen interest in helping to drive the product forward. You’ll also be a riot at company socials and will contribute towards our excellent culture and work/life mix. You’ll be technically aware of the latest front end technologies and will be able to hold your own with CTOs and influence CEOs.
What you’ll do:
- Lead Pre-Sales Engagements: Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and demonstrate Contentsquare’s value proposition through tailored presentations, product demos, and proof of concepts.
- Technical Expertise: Provide deep technical knowledge and insights about Contentsquare’s platform, including integrations, data flows, and analytics capabilities.
- Solution Design: Architect and design customized solutions to meet customer needs, leveraging Contentsquare’s suite of products.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients, understanding their business challenges and positioning Contentsquare’s solutions effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth handover and implementation of solutions.
- Market Insights: Gather and share market and competitive insights to influence product roadmap and strategic sales approaches.
- Training and Enablement: Conduct training sessions and workshops for internal teams and partners to enhance their understanding and selling capabilities of Contentsquare’s solutions.
- Event Participation: Represent Contentsquare at industry events, webinars, and conferences, showcasing thought leadership and technical acumen.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a presales, solutions consulting, or related customer/business facing technical role within the SaaS industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in web and app technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs. Proficient in understanding at least the concepts of Apps framework. Familiarity with data analytics and visualisation tools.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyse complex customer requirements and design effective solutions.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, with a focus on customer satisfaction and success.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Martech space, digital experience analytics, customer journey mapping, and UX and customer journey optimisation.
- Product Expertise: Experience with product analytics platforms, experience analytics, or customer experience platforms.
