Job Description

Within the CANVAS “Billing, Collections & Credit Risk” we are responsible for the billing, collections and accounting functions for the value streams:

  • Partnering (3rd party and Network Operator)
  • Business (Individual market, DCIP, EVPL. MITS)
  • Wholesale/Wholebuy
  • Accounting

This includes B2B billing and check of TDG invoices against our partners (in the business models Reselling, Factoring, Enabling and Brokering), business customers with individual contracts and national and international wholesale customers.

All this work is done by 13 teams.

We focus our efforts on customer impact and act in cooperation with our colleagues from the business. We are intensively working on cloudification, decoupling, retirements and introducing microservice architecture. We are continuously improving our agile maturity and are open for experiments and changes.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced tester in the Starlight team. This team has two main focus areas:

  1. Maintenance of Dolphin legacy system. You, as our new tester, will need to test the new bugfix releases. Some part of the regression test is automated so you need to maintain the existing test sets in robot framework.
  2. Main focus is the test of a new billing system based on Microservices architecture.

You, will be responsible for creating test concepts for system level and automate that for  automated running tests and reuse it for automated regression tests and pipelines for the new Microservices architecture.

The team communication is English, but some German language skill would help to exchange with periphery.

Requirements:

  • At least two years of software testing experience
  • Agile working practices
  • Basic DevOps, SQL Knowledge
  • Jira, Git, Gitlab and CI/CD pipelines
  • User level knowledge with Unix/Linux OS
  • Robot Framework
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
