Role: Senior UX Researcher

Role Purpose: As a Senior UX Researcher at 6sense, you will play a key role in helping to establish our UX Research function from the ground up. Our organization is already excited about the possibilities associated with maturing our user research. In collaboration with the Director of UX Research, you will turn that enthusiasm into reality, as the org sees firsthand how user research enhances the usability and value of our products.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to deliver actionable insights to product teams.
  • Create research reports that are clear, concise, compelling, and actionable.
  • Collaborate with product leadership to understand the most pressing business priorities and questions.
  • Guide Product Managers and Designers in conducting their own user research, including recommending the right methodologies for specific initiatives and sharing best practices.
  • Advocate for the importance and value of user research and evidence-based decision making throughout the product organization.
  • Help document user research methodologies and best practices, so that Product Managers and Designers can learn and self serve, as needed.

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • Significant experience as a User Researcher with a focus on B2B software.
  • A strong portfolio that shows how you led one or more high-impact user research initiatives from requirements through product delivery.
  • Proven experience mentoring Product Managers and Designers in conducting user research.
  • Deep understanding of usability principles, statistical analysis, and user research methodologies.
  • Proficient in using industry-standard UX research tools.

  • Excellent communication skills whether writing, speaking informally, or presenting at all levels of the organization.
  • Confident ability to help teams uncover important product-related questions.
  • Proven experience collaborating across disciplines and teams to drive positive product outcomes.
  • Strong storytelling skills

Base Salary Range: $163,875.00 - $210,350.00. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to work location and experience. The base salary is one component of 6sense’s total compensation package for this position. Other compensation may include a bonus program or commission plan, and stock options if approved by 6sense’s board. In addition, 6sense provides a variety of benefits, including generous health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, self-care days, and paid time off (PTO). #Li-remote
