\*\* This is a 3+ month contract opportunity with our client in the southern suburbs of Minneapolis, MN. The position follows a hybrid work model, with on-site attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship. Fractional resources will be considered. **
Our client recently purchased ServiceNow, and is seeking a sharp, hands-on ServiceNow Consultant to lead the early phases of implementation. This is a high-impact, short-term opportunity with the potential to evolve into a longer engagement based on evolving needs.
Responsibilities:
Spearhead initial ServiceNow setup and configuration
Define and establish a clear scope of work for short- and long-term goals
Lead and manage core ITSM implementation and FreshService migration
Provide strategic guidance on ServiceNow capabilities and roadmap
Drive early integrations and coordinate with internal teams
Prepare organization for future ServiceNow-related initiatives
Upcoming Projects:
ITSM implementation & FreshService decommissioning (initial priority)
Integrations with RingCentral, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Smartsheet, and Azure DevOps
Development of scoped applications
Exploration and enablement of NowAssist and other AI-driven features
Preferred Experience
Proven experience implementing ServiceNow, especially ITSM
Comfortable working with ambiguity and defining structure
Strong communication skills and ability to lead both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable to shifting priorities
Consulting experience preferred, particularly in short-term, high-ownership roles
