Your Role at impact.com:
The Software Engineering Operations Coordinator will serve as a crucial link between engineering and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and efficient operations. This role involves coordinating cross-functional initiatives, maintaining and optimizing internal systems for tracking engineering activities, analyzing processes for improvement, and bridging communication gaps. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, a technical aptitude, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced software engineering environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate Cross-Department Initiatives: You will facilitate communication and coordination between engineering, product, and other departments. This involves ensuring alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Maintain Internal Business Systems: You will manage and optimize our internal systems for tracking engineering projects, team activities, and progress. This includes ensuring data accuracy and system functionality.
- Analyze and Improve Processes: You will analyze existing engineering processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Bridge Technical Communication: You will assist in translating technical information into clear and concise language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Support Project Management: You will assist in the tracking of project progress, identifying potential roadblocks, and facilitating timely resolution.
What You Have:
- Technical degree: Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or math, or equivalent work experience
- Prior Experience: 3+ years of experience in a technical or engineering environment
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with diverse stakeholders.
- Organizational Proficiency: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to complex problems.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with software development concepts and comfortable working in a technical environment.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.
Nice To Have:
- Experience working within a software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency with project management and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies.
Salary Range: $95,000.00 - $107,000.00 CAD per year, plus an additional 5% variable annual bonus contingent on Company performance and eligible to receive a Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant. *This is the pay range the Company believes is equitable for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
