Our UniQue Team is growing and in our team, we are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team!
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Assist the Core Section Head in developing technical solutions for maritime IT operations, creating troubleshooting SOPs, and coordinating hardware refresh and upgrades.
- Support the planning and coordination of shipboard IT surveys prior to scheduled system installations.
- Provide system administration for assigned hardware and software.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain all technical and service-related documentation, including system configurations and supporting infrastructure.
- Ensure timely reporting of configuration control data to the Core Section Head.
- Deliver remote technical support during system handovers for vessels across various international operations.
- Maintain close collaboration with technicians and engineers within the organization.
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- Knowledge and experience in VMware Virtualisation technology
- Knowledge of SAN technology
- Knowledge and experience in Windows workstation imaging techniques
- Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Server Technologies; Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange
- Knowledge and experience in Application Server technologies
- Knowledge of ITIL IT service management model
- Knowledge of Incident and Problem Management processes and experience in this area
- Ability to write technical documentation and user guides
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

- An active NATO clearance at Secret level is required at the time of application.
