Job Title: Technical Business Analyst Intern - Master’s Level
Level: Master’s Level Internship
Team: Product
Status: Full-time (30-40 hours per week) & Part-time (Minimum 15 hours a week commitment)
Duration: Equivalent to minimum 520 Hours (or 3 months minimum)
Work location: Remote (with hybrid options in Toronto only)
Compensation: Hourly (paid in equity compensation equivalent to CAD $32/hour

Position Overview: This internship position builds on the foundational skills of a Business Analyst (BA) but requires a strong technical background in Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLM), or cloud engineering. A comprehensive understanding of these domains is crucial for success in this role.

What You’ll Do:
- Conduct insightful market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Contribute to the creation of go-to-market strategies, including market segmentation, target audience identification, and competitive positioning.
- Develop strategic business plans to drive growth and market expansion.
- Assist in capital market strategies, crafting compelling investor presentations and engagement activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with broader business objectives.
- Apply knowledge of Machine Learning /Artificial Intelligence/Large Language Model or Cloud Engineering concepts to inform business and product strategies.
- Provide risk analysis and recommend internal controls to strengthen operational and strategic outcomes.
About You:
- Currently pursuing or completed a Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- Technical knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models, or Cloud Engineering.
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and problem-solving.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using tools for business analysis.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Hiring Process:
- Application Submission: Candidates are invited to submit their resumes and cover letters through our career portal.
- Written Questionnaire: Selected candidates will receive a set of 10 written questions to assess their fit and technical knowledge..
- Video Questionnaire: Candidates who successfully pass the written assessment will be asked to answer 10 additional questions to be submitted in a video format to further evaluate their skills and cultural fit. The ability to video record your answers will be required.
- Evaluation: Our team will review the responses to both questionnaires. Candidates who meet our criteria will be invited to the next stage.
- Orientation Session: Successful candidates will be invited to participate in an orientation session where they will learn more about Vosyn, our projects, and what to expect during the internship.
