We are hiring a full-time Technical Innovation Principal to join RELEX in the Pricing & Promotions domain to join this excellent team! In this role, you’ll be part of a specialist global presales team, supporting the commercial success of our AI-powered pricing and promotional planning solution.
Together, the team helps RELEX win strategic deals by demonstrating the measurable value of optimized pricing, smarter promotions, and cross-functional decision-making. You will help the team achieve this by:
· Designing forward-thinking technical solutions & demonstrations tailored to retailer pricing and promo needs
· Ensuring business value is data-driven to show the ROI of automation and optimization
· Supporting presales engagements with deep technical, analytical, and commercial insight
As a Technical Innovation Principal, here’s what you can expect
· Analyze retailer data to generate insights that support pricing and promotion strategies
· Simulate promotions and pricing scenarios, evaluating their impact on sales, margin, and traffic
· Design and validate technical solutions for the RELEX Pricing & Promotions platform, ensuring scalability and performance
· Manage technical workflows across data extraction, transformation, model training, evaluation, and output
· Support data scoping and validation to ensure quality, relevance, and readiness for forecasting and pricing analysis
· Collaborate with sales, solution consultants, product, and engineering to shape winning proposals
· Develop and present demos, prototypes, and KPI evaluations tailored to commercial decision-makers
· Support the onboarding of new customers, ensuring continuity from sales to implementation
Key tools and technologies
- RELEX Pricing & Promotions platform
- Forecasting, replenishment, micro space, macro space, price, and promotional analytics engines
- Data platforms (preferred): Snowflake, SQL, TQL
- Observability tools (optional): Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus
- Collaboration tools (optional): Miro, Confluence, Git, Excel
You’ll work closely with
- Sales and Presales Consultants focused on Pricing & Promotions
- Product and Engineering teams defining solution capabilities
- Prospective customers, partners, and RELEX implementation teams
We’re looking for
- 2+ years of experience in pricing, promotions, analytics, presales, or technical roles
- Strong analytical skills and experience in data modeling, forecasting, or promotion evaluation
- Proven ability to support commercial strategy with technical insight and business cases
- Deep understanding of pricing lifecycle, retail processes, and promotional planning
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external customers
- Clear communication skills to translate technical insights into actionable outcomes
- Fluent English communication skills
What we consider an advantage
- Experience with pricing optimization tools or promotional analytics platforms
- Familiarity with RELEX or similar SaaS platforms in the retail space
- Background in retail categories such as grocery, convenience, pharma, beauty, DIY, or electronics
- Experience building or evaluating KPIs for retail performance
- Prototyping or tool-building experience to support presales activity
- Experience working with AI tools and platforms

NOTE: This is a virtual role based in North America which will require minimal, but some, travel (approx. 20%).
