3Pillar Global builds breakthrough software products that power digital businesses, and we are looking for a Product Development Manager to build and lead two high-performing product development teams that delight our clients through strong governance oversight and sustained product development excellence - to ensure that we drive excellence within product delivery.

As the Product Development Manager, you will have oversight for client satisfaction and delivery within your team(s), and build confidence with clients and product teams re: our ability to deliver exceptional products. You will obsess over the business outcomes your client is seeking to achieve, and align your team to achieve those outcomes. You are accountable for governance in your teams - escalating to the Product Development Director for support. You will lead a globally distributed team to deliver exceptional products that deliver business changing results, and report to the Director, Product Development.
Results are a must! Success in this role will be measured by team health and morale, organizational agile maturity, and the quality of coaching and mentorship provided, alongside the achievement of key product milestones and sustained client partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build Solutions to Deliver Client Outcomes: Build and lead high-performing account teams focused on achieving client business outcomes. Proactively manage client issues, escalations, and governance rhythms, including leading Agile ceremonies and recurring alignment sessions.
- Foster Product & Agile Excellence: As the primary mentor for product teams, you will coach them on the fundamentals of the product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery. You will guide teams and client stakeholders in creating and managing healthy, actionable product backlogs and prioritizing work based on client value. You will champion a culture of continuous learning and process improvement across all delivery engagements.
- Lead a High Performing Team: At 3Pillar, we hire for excellence. Hone the skill and capability of global teams, ensuring high-performance delivery. You will manage team member performance, approve first-line administrative processes (e.g., PTO, timesheets), and foster an environment of trust and accountability. You are accountable for the delivery quality of all professionals on your engagement and must possess an aptitude for working across cultures..
- Identify Client Solutions: Using your background in product development, and understanding of 3Pillar solutions, you will consult with and solution technical needs on designated pursuits, led by sales. You will support the technical needs for the engagement, client staffing needs, and lead ramp up on assigned engagements with clients. You will elevate solutions and successes to your Product Development Leaders so that the best and most impactful experiences within Product Development are showcased for our clients.
Success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
- Expertise in mentoring teams through the full product development lifecycle
- Expertise in applying and coaching in Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Proven ability to coach Product Managers/Owners on creating, managing, and prioritizing actionable product backlogs
- A servant-leader and coaching mindset focused on team empowerment and continuous improvement
- A thorough understanding of how to plan, resource, and deliver projects
- Executive level written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated success communicating with, influencing, and setting expectations with technical and business stakeholders
- Data-minded and methodical approach to delivery accountability
- Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years of relevant product leadership experience, with a proven track record of successfully launching products
- 3 years of managerial experience providing successful delivery of agile products
- 1 year of consulting experience, preferably in a professional services firm or in an internal consultancy to executive stakeholders
Additional Experience Desired:
- 1+ years experience hiring, managing, and developing individual contributors
- Experience using quantitative and qualitative metrics to inform design decisions and drive change
- Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written
- Occasional travel (~1-2x/year) to client location to support ongoing team and client engagement
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field, beneficial but not required
