We’re looking for a senior contract Product Designer to join our Land and Expand team, which drives Grammarly’s enterprise growth. You’ll design new enterprise AI agents and collaborate with the team to brainstorm and prioritize which agents to build next to meet the needs of managed enterprise customers. This is a critical backfill role while we hire full-time. You’ll work at the intersection of AI agents and enterprise administration, designing for both end users and the admins who configure experiences on their behalf.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end experiences for enterprise AI agents, from end-user interactions to admin configuration surfaces
- Adapt consumer agents for managed contexts, including permissions, controls, and governance requirements
- Create admin surfaces for team management, settings, and organizational controls
- Partner with research to synthesize insights into product recommendations for the agent roadmap
- Collaborate with PM, engineering, and data science to scope and ship feasible solutions
- Produce polished, production-ready UI that extends our existing design system
- Mentor earlier-career designers and contribute to design quality across the team
Qualifications:
Required
- Absorbs complexity quickly: can parachute into unfamiliar domains and get oriented fast without heavy hand-holding
- Strong end-to-end craft: confidently moves from flows and wireframes to polished UI with well-reasoned design decisions
- Enterprise product experience: has designed for enterprise customers, including AI agents, admin dashboards, permissions models, team management, or other B2B surfaces
- Collaborative in PM/eng-led teams: articulates design rationale clearly, pushes back when needed, and navigates to productive solutions
- Self-directed and proactive: runs work forward independently and flags blockers early
- Senior-level impact: independently leads cross-team projects and drives measurable business outcomes across product areas with little to no oversight
- Expert in 1+ core skills: strong expertise in interaction design, prototyping, visual design, or product thinking
Preferred
- Rapid prototyping skills (Claude Code, v0, or similar)
- Experience designing AI/ML products or agent-based interfaces
- Background working with cross-functional research and data science partners
- Contract or consulting experience preferred
