Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce QA Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce ecosystem, focusing on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and complex enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Manual Testing with a proven ability to scale into Automation using Playwright.
Responsibilities:
Manual Testing: Perform end-to-end (E2E) testing of complex Salesforce workflows, including Lead-to-Cash, CPQ, and custom Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Automation Development: Design and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright to improve regression coverage and CI/CD efficiency.
Test Strategy: Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and User Stories to create comprehensive Test Plans and Test Cases.
Data Validation: Validate data integrity across Salesforce objects and downstream systems (ERP/Data Warehouses) using SOQL and SQL.
Defect Management: Identify, document, and track bugs in Jira, working closely with developers and TPMs to ensure timely resolution.
Collaboration: Participate in Sprint Planning and Daily Stand-ups, providing clear updates on testing progress and blockers.
Salesforce Expertise: 5+ years of experience testing Salesforce platforms. Deep understanding of Profiles, Permission Sets, Validation Rules, and Workflows.
Manual Testing: Expertise in functional, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Automation: Practical experience (or strong theoretical knowledge) with Playwright for web automation. Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus.
API Testing: Proficient in testing REST/SOAP APIs using tools like Postman or JMeter.
Tools: Expert knowledge of Jira for test management and SOQL for database querying.
