Job Description
Our client operates within the food manufacturing and direct distribution sector, with a strong specialization in frozen and ice products. The company’s core business model focuses on delivering these products directly to end consumers across multiple European countries, ensuring a seamless and efficient distribution process.
The project focuses on developing a Point of Sales solution for drivers, enabling seamless, mobile-friendly processing of customer orders, payments, and deliveries directly from the field.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Tailor client solutions: Conduct research, assessments, and recommend efficient and robust software solutions tailored to client needs.
Deliver high-quality code: Develop and maintain applications using Kotlin for a custom embedded/mobile operating system
Drive Continuous Improvement: You will proactively identify areas for improvement in existing programs and lead refactoring efforts.
Team collaboration: Collaborate closely with software engineers, product owners, team managers, and clients.
Provide client consultancy: Offer technical consultancy services to clients to ensure solutions meet their requirements.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as Frontend and Android Developer
- Hands-on experience with Kotlin, ideally in the context of Kotlin Multiplatform, frontend integration, or backend APIs.
- Version control proficiency (Git, Atlassian, etc..) or any similar tools
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including debugging, performance testing
- Effective communication skills for both team collaboration and client interaction
- Ability to adapt strategies and work methods to specific project contexts
- Experience analyzing project requirements and delivering reliable solutions for different components
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Nice to have: JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with frameworks such as React or Angular
- Nice to have: German skills
