Get ready to make a real impact in a certified B Corp as our new Junior Financial Accountant and help Ace & Tate climb to greater heights and to prepare for future growth. As our Junior Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the full administration of certain entities, meaning end-to-end ownership of the figures, from invoice processing to reporting.
You will have a wide variety of tasks. A mix of recurring projects and ad-hoc. Here at Ace & Tate, the Finance team consists of all-rounders who understand all aspects of our administration. You will work closely with a dynamic and young team to get the financials of our 80+ stores in 9 countries nice and tidy.
We constantly look for the most efficient ways to report the right figures. You’ll have the chance to be the driver in optimising financial processes and reporting. Our ideal candidate thrives in a changing environment.
The position is available immediately (32- 40 hours) at our headquarters office in Amsterdam.
You’ll be…
- Verify coding of invoices and route invoices to the appropriate budget holders for approval
- Be responsible for journal entry preparation
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Take on various month-end tasks such as review of P&Ls
- Develop and maintain a professional relationship with vendors
- Research and reconcile vendor statements and invoice inquiries
- Be the go-to person for finance questions by fellow Ace-ers in the stores and HQ
- Process employee declarations
- Assist in the execution of payment runs
- Process and reconcile bank transactions
- Deliver on ad hoc requests such as business cases
- Provide support during our annual audit
You…
- Have a good understanding of accounting and finance (e.g. BSc/ MSc in Accounting)
- Have 1 - 3 years of relevant working experience
- Experience with fixed assets accounting is a plus
- Are solution oriented and have an optimistic attitude
- Are able to improvise and deal with new challenges
- Love analysing
- Experience with Odoo ERP system will be a huge plus
- Are not scared by Excel formulas and know how to use them
- Are an excellent English speaker and writer
