Job Description
Job Description: Junior Accountant or Bookkeeper & Sales Support
Location: Ain Saadeh, Industrial Zone Lebanon
Reports to: Administration & Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Junior Accountant / Sales Support to join our team at our smoked salmon production facility. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, manage invoicing and customer order processing, and support the sales team. This hybrid role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy in data entry, and a customer-service mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Record daily financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
Assist with monthly closings and preparation of financial reports
Maintain up-to-date and accurate ledgers and journals
File and organize supporting documentation for audits
Support the Accountant/Operations Manager in preparing data for VAT and other tax filings
Sales & Order Processing
Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently (phone, WhatsApp, or in-person)
Issue sales invoices and ensure they match actual product dispatched
Ensure timely follow-up on payments and maintain client account records
Coordinate with production and delivery teams to ensure orders are fulfilled properly
Provide basic product information and availability to customers
Assist with maintaining price lists and customer databases
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Degree or technical diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress). Experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or sales support (internships included)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Software that uses the Lebanese ledgers, ERP, or similar)
- Comfortable with numbers, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Good communication skills in Arabic and English, French is a plus
- Experience in food production, retail, or hospitality is an advantage

Work Schedule: Full-time 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday.
