We commercialize innovation and industrialize construction for clean infrastructure. Founded in 2016, we bridge the gap between established organizations and the entrepreneurial ecosystem, delivering the full innovation lifecycle from strategy to development to launch. We help energy and infrastructure companies assess, develop, and launch new products, services, and startups. We also lead innovation programs sponsored by entities like the Department of Energy (DOE) and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).

Our services include:

• Industrialized Construction: We develop and launch repeatable construction systems, ventures, operating models, and supply-side capabilities to reduce cost, schedule, and performance risk for large owners. We design and deploy systems for owners and help AEC firms grow market share with modernized construction offerings. For investors, we build portfolios of industrialized construction operations.
• Unsticking Intellectual Property: We help corporations convert internal IP into revenue streams through external pathways such as spin-outs, joint ventures, and licensing agreements.
• Open Innovation Competitions: We design and manage programs to source and evaluate novel technologies for corporates to solve challenges, including creating dedicated prizes and competitive programs through platforms like ProblemSpace.
• New Products & Services: We support small teams in launching new companies and assist late-stage or legacy companies in creating new products, services, or divisions, often leveraging existing intellectual property.
• Launch New Ventures: We provide fractional teams of experienced entrepreneurs to offer strategic direction, market entry guidance, brand positioning, and support in tapping various funding sources for emerging businesses.
• Venture Acceleration: We partner with government agencies to support climate tech startups with new venture strategy, go-to-market strategy (especially with large corporates), capital strategy, non-dilutive funding, market insights, and team development.
• Decarbonization Strategy: We support corporate and innovation strategy for legacy-sector incumbents to achieve decarbonization goals. This includes advancing energy purchasing strategies, integrating sustainability models, and preparing utilities for the transportation transition.

Our team of 11-50 employees consists equally of entrepreneurs and executives with experience in innovation, R&D, and corporate development within major institutions. We are nimble and understand the pressures involved in bringing new products to market and scaling new businesses. Our culture emphasizes working across a company’s entire lifecycle and with government institutions. We prioritize building or finding technologies to solve problems, aiming to build businesses and products while avoiding prolonged engagements. We are comfortable sharing risks, recognizing it as part of achieving significant results.
