Job Description
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our A-team (hybrid*). As an Accounts Payable Specialist at Allucent, you will play a key role in managing and processing all vendor invoices and employee reimbursements. Your responsibilities include entering invoices into our accounting software, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with financial policies. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure timely payments and maintain vendor relationships.
In this role your key tasks will include:
- Reviewing and processing vendor invoices for payments.
- Managing employee expense reimbursements in line with company policies.
- Ensuring all invoices are accompanied by appropriate documentation.
- Maintaining accurate records and ledgers related to accounts payable.
- Collaborating with project managers to obtain necessary approvals for payments.
- Assisting with month-end closing activities as required.
- Responding to vendor inquiries and resolving any payment discrepancies.
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Maintaining vendor information in the accounting system.
- Preparing reports on accounts payable activities as needed.
To be successful you should possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Microsoft D365 is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of applicable accounting principles and regulations.
