We founded Apify in 2015 and officially launched in Prague, Czech Republic, in 2016. We offer a cloud platform for web scraping, browser automation, AI agents, and data for AI. Our marketplace features tools called Actors, which developers can use to build, publish, and sell their solutions. We provide over 10,000 ready-made tools, code templates, and custom solution options.

Our Actors scrape up-to-date web data for many applications, including AI apps and agents, social media monitoring, competitive intelligence, lead generation, and product research. We integrate with applications like Zapier, GitHub, Google Sheets, Pinecone, Airbyte, Google Drive, and Slack. We also provide open-source tools, proxies, unblocking capabilities, cloud deployment, monitoring, and data processing.

Our platform supports Python, JavaScript, Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, Scrapy, and Crawlee, our web crawling and browser automation library.

Our clients include enterprises like Siemens, Intercom, Groupon, Microsoft, T Mobile, Decathlon, Accenture, the European Commission, Square, Amgen, Open Table, and Princeton University. We have over 25,000 customers globally. We also offer Apify Professional Services to design, implement, and execute web scraping projects.

We process over 4 billion web pages monthly and host 14,716 Actors in our store. Our platform has 99.95% uptime and is SOC2, GDPR, and CCPA compliant.

Our mission is to help people get more value from the web by automating repetitive tasks, letting them focus on other priorities. We believe the web should remain accessible as a public good and a basic right for all users, consistent with its creators’ original intentions.
