As the Senior Director of the Transformation Office, you will lead the Technology organization’s strategy and planning that shapes the future of our Technology organization at Arc’teryx. This role offers the opportunity to build a critical function combining project portfolio management, product management professional, technology business management, and accelerate our AI strategy. You will influence strategic planning, portfolio governance, and AI adoption at scale, while developing high-performing teams and communities of practice. Expect to work through challenges such as aligning global priorities, driving cultural change, and embedding new ways of working across diverse teams. This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

You’ll join the Transformation Office, a team dedicated to enabling growth and elevating guest experiences through world-class technology platforms and practices. Together, we drive innovation, operational excellence, and AI adoption across the organization.

If you were in the Senior Directior, Transformation & AI role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Leading the annual and multi-year technology planning cycle, aligning business priorities with enterprise capability maps
  • Overseeing enterprise portfolio management and delivery governance to ensure value realization
  • Driving AI adoption through governance, education programs, and executive coaching
  • Designing and operationalizing Product Guilds as communities of practice across global product managers
  • Coaching and developing a small, high-performing team within the Transformation Office

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Creating standardized planning and delivery frameworks that connect strategy to execution
  • Establishing global product management competencies and mentoring programs
  • Driving the evolution of product guilds to position Arc’teryx as a leader in product management excellence
  • Building and evolving the AI Acceleration Framework to ensure responsible AI adoption
  • Developing mechanisms for AI tool intake, approvals, and risk management

Are you our next Senior Director, Transformation Office? You have:

  • 15+ years in technology or product leadership roles within consumer, retail, or apparel industries
  • Proven success leading PMO functions, product management organizations, and AI strategy initiatives
  • Expertise in strategic planning, portfolio governance, delivery management, and AI adoption at global scale
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Tableau
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills; ability to engage C-suite and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience managing and developing small teams in a high-performance environment
  • You are proactive in identifying root causes and developing solutions, remain highly adaptable in ambiguity, and inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement. Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it.

$149,000 - $186,000 a year

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$149,000 - CAD$186,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.

Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
