Job Summary
Aretum is seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Technical Recruiter/Sourcer. As a Junior Technical Recruiter/Sourcer, you will source, screen, and submit qualified candidates for positions that vary from technical, administrative, managerial, and other skillsets that fall within the present or upcoming talent acquisition needs of Aretum.
Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
Partner with Hiring Managers and Talent Acquisition team to understand hiring needs and create comprehensive sourcing strategies
Utilize various sourcing methods and tools to identify and engage potential candidates, including social media, job boards, networking events, and referrals
Review resumes and qualifications to assess candidates’ fit for specific roles
Conduct initial phone screens and assessments to evaluate candidates’ skills and qualifications
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential candidates, keeping them engaged throughout the hiring process
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and progress
Recommend and implement improvements to sourcing and recruitment processes
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Talent Sourcer or Recruiter, preferably in the government contracting industry
Demonstrated ability to effectively source and engage passive candidates using various sourcing methods and tools
Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other online platforms
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with potential candidates
Basic understanding of recruitment processes and best practices
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software
Experience in the government contracting industry or familiarity with the Federal hiring process
Travel Requirements
This is a remote position; however, occasional travel may be required based on project needs, client meetings, team collaboration events, or training sessions. Travel is expected to be less than 10% and will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
