Overview
We’re looking for a Data Scientist curious about AI and games to help us explore and build practical applications of Generative AI and machine learning across our games (or gaming platforms).
In this role, you will experiment with existing LLMs and fine-tuning techniques to show how valuable our data can be in improving AI models. Experience with Reinforcement Learning is also valuable.
You’ll also use traditional machine learning models to improve player experience, build internal tools, and support teams such as product and marketing with better insights and optimizations.
You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and analysts to turn ideas into scalable AI solutions used across platforms with millions of players.
Important note: we’re open to candidates from mid-level to senior, as long as you bring strong passion about AI and a desire to experiment and build impactful systems.
What You’ll Do
Explore and implement Generative AI solutions using existing LLMs.
Experiment with LLM fine-tuning and adapting models for practical use cases.
Experiment with Reinforcement Learning (RL) models and RL environment creation.
Apply traditional machine learning techniques to problems such as player behavior, recommendations, or marketing optimization.
Prototype and evaluate new AI-driven features and tools.
Work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data science solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in data science and machine learning.
- Experience with fine-tuning open-source Large Language Models and evaluating them and/or experience with RL models/environments.
- Solid knowledge of traditional ML techniques and experimentation.
- Ability to write efficient code (typically Python).
- Curiosity and passion for AI experimentation and games.
Nice to Have
- Experience in gaming, consumer platforms, or large-scale data environments.

Work Location & Hybrid Model (Portugal)
In Portugal, we operate under a hybrid work model that blends remote and in-office work. Employees may work from home or from the office depending on team and individual needs, ensuring both flexibility and strong collaboration.
If you reside in the Lisbon metropolitan area: you will be expected to work onsite one to three times per week. If you are based outside of Lisbon: a different onsite cadence will apply.
