Manticore Games Inc.

We were founded in 2016 in San Mateo, CA, to develop and operate the Core Platform. The Core Platform is a digital playground and community where players can create, share, and play free games and experiences. It functions as an arcade of user-generated content and events.

We also developed and published “Out of Time,” a multiplayer roguelite that focuses on fast-paced cooperative action and gear experimentation. It was released on September 25 and will be available on Steam on December 16.

Our team has experience from companies like Electronic Arts, Blizzard, Respawn, Xfire, Roblox, Trion Worlds, Crystal Dynamics, and Zynga. We specialize in game development, publishing, and creating social platforms, with a strong focus on Unreal Engine and modding within the computer games industry.

We have between 51 and 200 employees. We define a “Manticore” as a multi-specialist, someone who can work across different disciplines. We foster an environment where everyone can do their best work.

We offer fully remote work options. We’ve also issued advisories about fraudulent recruitment, reminding candidates that real job communications will always come from an ‘@manticoregames.com’ email address and will require a video interview.
