We are a Speech AI company founded in 2017, building AI models that transcribe and understand human speech.

Our offerings include AI Speech-to-Text for prerecorded and streaming audio, along with Audio Intelligence capabilities like Summarization, Sentiment Analysis, Topic Detection, Content Moderation, and PII Redaction. We also provide LeMUR, a framework for applying large language models to transcribed speech. With LeMUR, users can ask questions, extract action items, and generate recaps from their transcriptions.

We serve customers such as CallRail, Fireflies, and Spotify, providing the models they need to build AI-powered experiences and products using voice data. We process over 600 million inference calls and more than 840 million API calls per month, handling over 40 terabytes of audio daily. In December 2023, we raised $50 million in Series C funding.

Our vision is to create new, superhuman Speech AI models. These models will unlock new applications and products that use voice data, helping to advance and make Speech AI technology accessible to everyone.

We are a remote-first company with a global team of 51 to 200 employees. We are structured as a research-oriented organization, bringing together interdisciplinary research leaders, scientists, and engineers to build and scale advanced Speech AI models.
