We were founded in 2018 by Stanford University Professors Marshall Burke, Stefano Ermon, and David Lobell. We operate in the technology, information, and internet sectors, with backing from Airbus, The Rockefeller Foundation, and Micron. We use AI and satellite imagery to measure socioeconomic conditions in emerging markets, especially where traditional market data is scarce.

Our proprietary data helps us analyze, monitor, and predict economic trends, identifying areas of growth, stagnation, or vulnerability. This information helps private and public organizations make investment decisions and drive economic progress. Our platform offers hyperlocal socio-demographic indicators and forecasts supply and demand to pinpoint market opportunities.

For data scientists, our GeoAI platform includes socio-demographic features, change indicators and forecasts, a geospatial feature store for geo-referenced data, a GeoAI model library, and an enterprise developer toolkit for easier GeoAI development.

We offer solutions like demand forecasting (for industrials, logistics, and energy), site monitoring (for conflict-prone regions, asset monitoring, and audits), last-mile targeting (for consumer goods, humanitarian aid, and logistics), market micro-segmentation (for sales in consumer goods, manufacturing, logistics, and transportation), and demand-sensing (for fleet investments and manufacturing planning across many sectors).
