We are looking for a Strategic Procurement Manager based in Berlin to build new processes and contribute to the company strategy of profitable growth. Job Description
- Leading sourcing boards with departments and aligning on sourcing strategies
- Owning Source to Pay process for the category: from planning to payment including suppliers selection, tendering and negotiations
- Preparing guidelines and benchmarking
- Evaluating savings potential per each account on EU-level, delivering savings
- Creating and executing a category roadmap
- Evaluating base of payment terms per category and execute improvement targets
- Contract management: creating contracts overviews and renewals plans
- Working efficiently and autonomously in highly self-driven manner
- Coordinating multiple internal stakeholders with various hierarchy level
- Driving collaboration and partnership with vendors
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of working experience in procurement preferably with experience in implementing new processes and category management
- Experience in such categories as Technology (IT: software, hosting, telephony), Classifieds, Real Estate, Facility Management, Human Resource or Marketing
- Completed studies, preferably a master degree
- Ideally, in-depth knowledge in global procurement as a Procurement Manager
- Sound experience in building up strategies and driving initiatives, for business improvement
- A high level of analytical thinking coupled with advanced Excel skills
- You master excellent verbal and written communication in English, while German is a plus
