Your Impact

As an Account Executive, Small City, you’ll own the full sales cycle for law enforcement agencies with 16–40 sworn officers, managing a larger, more complex set of accounts while building trusted, long-term customer relationships.

This is a quota-carrying role with significant commission upside, designed for sales professionals with proven closing experience who are ready to increase deal size, responsibility, and impact. Your work directly supports law enforcement agencies by helping them adopt Axon’s technology to protect officers, strengthen communities, and save lives.

What You’ll Do

Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid)

This role is based out of our Scottsdale office with in-office collaboration Tuesday through Friday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.

Reports to: Inside Sales Manager

  • Own the entire sales cycle for a defined territory, from prospecting and discovery through close and expansion
  • Manage a book of business focused on small city law enforcement agencies (16–40 sworn officers)
  • Drive pipeline through a balanced mix of outbound prospecting and inbound opportunities
  • Build relationships with key law enforcement stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations via phone, web conferencing, and onsite visits
  • Sell Axon’s full ecosystem of hardware, software, and service solutions
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts, including renewals and upsells
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and activity tracking in Salesforce
  • Participate in ongoing training to deepen product, industry, and competitive expertise
  • Travel to client sites, conferences, and roadshows as needed (up to 20%)

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2–3 years of full-cycle sales experience, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing
  • Proven success in a quota-carrying, commission-driven role
  • Experience managing multiple accounts and longer sales cycles
  • Strong CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment
  • Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Coachable, collaborative, and motivated by results
  • Travel - 20%
