We are a private, nonprofit organization founded in 1936. We promote trust between consumers and businesses. For over 80 years, we have served regions like the Midwest Plains.

We operate across the United States and Canada through local offices. For example, our Midwest Plains office covers Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and South Dakota, and works with nearly 12,000 Accredited Businesses.

We offer several services. For businesses, we provide accreditation that shows a commitment to responsible practices. We also educate businesses and give them tools to build trust. For consumers, we offer business profiles with details, customer reviews, complaint histories, and actions we’ve taken. We also help resolve complaints and disputes by acting as a neutral third party, without making judgments. We rate businesses based on their marketplace interactions and run a Scam Tracker where consumers can report and view fraud reports to help protect others. We do not endorse any product, service, or company.

Our Midwest Plains office has 11-50 employees and is overseen by a voluntary Board of Directors.

We generally work a 40-hour week, with no nights or weekends, and offer flexible scheduling. Some sales roles can be 100% remote.
