A little bit about us:

We are Belvo, an open finance API platform with the bold vision of democratizing access to financial services in Latin America. We enable any financial innovator to access and interpret financial data, as well as initiate payments from their end-users accounts. We’re turning the messy complexities of the Latin American financial ecosystem into a modern set of tools to access and interpret data and move money in a seamless and secure way.

We’re a highly-technical, passionate, and driven team. We are more than 90 people and our team currently represents 20 nationalities. We have offices in São Paulo and Mexico City – while a large portion of us work remotely.

We are tackling a very stimulating problem: connecting fintech innovators with legacy financial infrastructure. We strive to go beyond the limits of what is possible today and to do so in an elegant and developer-first way.

  • While we are global and remote-friendly, we also operate from our vibrant offices in CDMX and Sao Paulo. To accommodate the various time zones in which we are based, we ensure we’re always synced up for at least 3 hours per day.

Your opportunity:

The Product Strategy team is the architectural backbone of our international expansion. Our mission is to identify, validate, and scale the next generation of financial products that will define the Mexican and Brazilian markets. We bridge the gap between high-level company vision and tactical execution, ensuring that our “New Products” portfolio doesn’t just launch, but leads the market.

This team operates at the intersection of market intelligence, regulatory navigation, and operational excellence. We are responsible for ensuring that our expansion into Variable Recurring Payments (VRP), A2A rails, and other emerging technologies is cohesive, scalable, and aligned with our global strategic objectives.

Belvo’s next chapter is being built around new products: Agentic Collections, Lending Marketplace, AI-native fintech products, and the bets that come after. This role owns how those products reach the market and start generating revenue across Brazil and Mexico.

You’ll work the boundary between product, commercial, and the real economy of the two largest fintech markets in LatAm. Your goal is to increase market adoption of new initiatives: faster launches, closer relationship with customers, more iterations. The result should be a quick path from idea to revenue. This is a market-facing job inside the product organization. If you want to turn new products into category wins in two of the most attractive fintech markets on Earth, this is for you.

This is what you will own:

  • The launch-to-revenue motion. You decide which customers we pilot with, what we charge, how we package, and what “ready to scale” looks like for each new product. When a launch hasn’t produced revenue six months later, that’s your problem to solve.

  • Input metrics that predict revenue. You’ll own pilots launched, time-to-first-revenue, pilot-to-paid conversion, and more. You are responsible to define the metrics that we need to track for each new initiative that will bring us closer to revenue scale

  • The point of view on what to launch next. You’ll bring data, customer signals, and a sharp read on the BR and MX fintech landscape to the executive team. We expect you to push back on us, to be creative and not just execute what gets handed down.

  • Speed to market. You’ll have access to different technical teams that can deliver at fast speed. Your job is to define what we build, what we change, in order to achieve our revenue goals. You should be able to translate market signals into product requirements, with the help of the product and engineering teams

This is what you will do:

  • Shape Cross-Border Strategy: Manage the execution of the product strategy team across Brazil and Mexico, using your team’s outcomes to influence the company’s overall investment and roadmap decisions.

  • Architect New Product Launches: Lead high-stakes, cross-team initiatives from ideation to scale. You define how new products need to be implemented and ensure the processes are followed across both regions.

  • Quantify & Communicate Impact: Deeply understand the impact of new initiatives on our market share. You will communicate these results to stakeholders and plan the company strategy around the highest-leverage opportunities in each country.

  • Drive Cultural & Org Change: Consistently make organizational changes that improve our “speed to market.”

  • High-Level Mentorship: Advise and mentor senior ICs and managers across the broader product org. You will influence the OKRs and strategy of other teams to ensure they align with our expansion goals.

This position may be for you if:

  • 10+ years of startup experience. This can be working inside product organizations, being a founder yourself or even working as an investor in the sector.

  • You’ve launched and scaled fintech products in Brazil or Mexico — ideally both. You know why a product that wins in São Paulo can flop in Monterrey.

  • Leadership of Leaders: You have experience managing teams. You know how to empower leaders and scale culture across geographically distributed teams.

  • You operate AI-native. You use AI in your daily work to research markets, build models, draft strategy, and move multiples faster than the version of you from two years ago. If AI isn’t already in your workflow, this role won’t work.

  • Strategic Mastery of LatAm Markets: You understand the nuances of Brazil vs. Mexico and can build a strategy that leverages the strengths in each country

  • You read regulation as competitive advantage. PIX, SPEI, CoDi, Open Finance Brazil, Open Banking Mexico, etc you have a real point of view on each.

  • Organizational Architecture: You don’t just follow processes; you design them. You’ve implemented cultural or organizational changes that have had company-wide impact.

  • High-Stakes Influence: You are a master at stakeholder management, comfortable advising C-suite executives and navigating complex regulatory or legal environments.

  • You can sit in a customer pricing conversation, a board update, and a product trade-off call on the same day, and add value to all three.

  • Data-Driven Vision: You move beyond analyzing metrics; you use data to tell stories that shift company strategy. You hold a high bar for how the organization measures “impact” for new products.

Amazing if:

  • You’ve built a company or a product from 0 to 1. Doesn’t have to have worked. Has to have happened.

  • Software engineering or data science background early in your career.

  • Fluent Portuguese and Spanish.

  • You have leveraged AI to fundamentally change the way you work and / or build amazing projects
