We are a multidisciplinary group founded in 1909, with expertise in construction, property development, and concessions. Our capabilities span all aspects of a project, from financing, design, and building to operation and maintenance.

BESIX Contracting focuses on construction, infrastructure, and marine works, often handling complex contracts. We have a strong presence in Benelux and France through regional affiliates like BESIX Infra, Vanhout, Wust, Cobelba, Jacques Delens, and Lux TP.

We also offer specialized services for the building market through entities such as Franki Foundations (deep foundations, geo-engineering), Socogetra (road construction), Sanotec (water treatment), and Van den Berg (cable and pipeline construction).

Outside Europe, we have operated in the Middle East for over 55 years, and in 2018, we expanded our presence in Australia by acquiring Watpac Ltd.

Our work includes: buildings, civil works, marine works, sports and leisure infrastructure, industry, water treatment plants, real estate, concessions and assets, engineering, BIM, high-rise buildings, 3D concrete printing, and open innovation.

In 2018, our group reported sales revenues over EUR 2.5 billion and employed more than 15,000 people across 26 countries on 5 continents. For example, Six Construct, a part of our group, participates in Early Contractor Involvement bids, where we provide technical review, ensure constructibility, and manage design compliance and value engineering for major building projects.
