Job Description
Head of Group Accounting & Tax Compliance is responsible for the organization of financial and tax accounting and tax compliance within Biomapas Group.
Responsibilities:
Lead the team of local and international group accounting: manage consolidation, group reporting, month-end/quarter-end/year-end close,
Financial reporting & compliance: ensure timely, accurate consolidated financial statements, statutory filings and disclosures in line with IFRS or local GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Tax strategy & compliance: own corporate tax position across jurisdictions, oversee tax compliance (corporate income tax, VAT, withholding, payroll taxes), tax returns, provision calculation, and relationship with external tax advisors and authorities.
Management and coordination of statutory and group audits;
Tax risk management & planning: lead tax risk identification, transfer pricing oversight, tax-efficient structuring, M&A tax diligence and post-deal integration support.
People leadership: recruit, develop and manage a high-performing team of group accountants and tax professionals (partners); set objectives, performance reviews and succession planning.
Stakeholder management: partner with Group CFO, finance heads of subsidiaries, legal, treasury, external auditors and tax advisors; provide clear, timely reporting to executive management and the board.
Experience working in a holding or multi-entity group structure (not less than 3 years), ideally within multinational groups and professional services.
In depth knowledge of IFRS, including group consolidation, intercompany eliminations and business combinations (M&A accounting, PPA);
Experience in group restructuring and group tax structuring across different jurisdictions
Strong understanding of practical implementation of complex accounting standards (i.e. Business Combinations)
Fluent English (both written and oral)
Experience in entities integration considered an advantage
Proven leadership managing distributed teams and interfacing with C-suite and external advisors.
Possession of ACCA, CFA, CPA or similar considered an advantage

Salary Range – from 6000 to 7500 eur/month (gross)
