We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to manage a portfolio of grocery / retail partners in Ukraine.

<strong>About the role</strong>

As a Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving the adoption and expansion of the Grocery / Retail solutions.

<strong>Main tasks and responsibilities:</strong>

  • Secure new Grocery & Retail business by identifying, engaging, and converting key enterprise prospects, building a strong pipeline of opportunities, negotiating commercial agreements, and establishing long-term partnerships that drive revenue growth.
  • Operate at a senior level, working autonomously to own strategic commercial decisions and drive partnership initiatives end-to-end with minimal oversight - own the end-to-end partner journey from first contact through launch and activation, acting as the primary point of contact during onboarding, resolving operational and administrative challenges, and ensuring a seamless go-live experience.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of partners by building trusted relationships, understanding their business objectives, providing ongoing operational support, conducting regular business reviews, and identifying opportunities to improve performance and drive sustainable growth.
  • Analyze business performance through KPIs, dashboards, and commercial metrics, using data-driven insights to define growth initiatives, marketing and monetization strategies, forecast trends, manage budgets, and take ownership of P&L performance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Partner Operations, Campaigns, Customer Success, and Customer Support to execute commercial strategies, support new store launches and expansion projects, solve operational challenges, and continuously improve the partner and customer experience.

<strong>About you:</strong>

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, key account management, or commercial sales; Grocery, Retail, FMCG, or marketplace experience is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong negotiation, deal-closing, stakeholder management, CRM, and data analysis skills, with experience owning commercial results and P&L.
  • Fluent in Ukrainian and professional English, with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly for on-site partner meetings and visits.
