Job Description
Product Security Analyst supports our product security goals by investigating security issues, assessing their business impact, and strengthening security controls across the product ecosystem. The role focuses on generating actionable security intelligence, improving detection and logging quality, supporting incident response, and collaborating closely with product teams to enhance overall security posture and protect end-users.

The analyst will contribute to enhancing the security posture of our product platform by analysing user events to produce security metrics on the impact and extent of the abuse of security gaps. The role involves investigating known misuse cases and using data analysis methods to quantify their scale and impact. In addition, the analyst will support the rest of the product security team during incident mitigation and investigation, as well as subsequent analysis to improve visibility and support security automation efforts.
Investigate reported security issues and analyse their scale, severity, and impact on end-users. Analyse user event data to identify abuse patterns and produce security metrics. Support security incident investigations and mitigation activities across the product ecosystem. Contribute to detection engineering by automating recurring investigation patterns into repeatable workflows. Identify data quality gaps and improve security logging and visibility. Assess the business impact of security issues and communicate findings to product teams and key stakeholders.
Demonstrated interest and passion for cybersecurity. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess threats, identify root causes, and drive security improvements. Professional experience with data analysis tools - Jupyter Notebook, Python – NumPy, Pandas, or R (nice to have). Experience in incident response, including log analysis and mitigation strategies (nice to have). Degree in cybersecurity, natural sciences, computer science, mathematics, or a related field (nice to have).
