Are you passionate about bringing innovative technology to life, ensuring every product meets the highest standards from concept to mass production? At Bosch eBike Systems, we are revolutionizing urban mobility with connected devices and human-machine interfaces. As our Industrialization Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless, high-quality, and cost-effective production of our next-generation eBike solutions.

  • Pioneer Production Excellence: Serve as the key Industrialization and Manufacturing expert, representing Bosch eBike Systems both with our global suppliers and internally, particularly for our cutting-edge Connected Devices and Human Machine Interfaces.

  • Drive Strategic Outcomes: Lead the charge for industrialization and production, ensuring all projects consistently achieve our ambitious quality, cost, and delivery targets.

  • Forge Technical Partnerships: Act as the primary technical interface with our Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) partners, managing all aspects from sample builds to full-scale production. You will meticulously manage supplier schedules and deliverables, guaranteeing timely and efficient execution.

  • Optimize Production Capacity: Ensure our production lines not only meet but exceed required capacity and uphold Bosch’s stringent quality standards.

  • Orchestrate Project Success: Coordinate complex industrialization projects, strategically prioritizing tasks and managing interdependencies to maintain an optimized schedule.

  • Innovate & Anticipate: Continuously analyze and enhance production processes, proactively monitoring their performance to implement improvements and foster innovation.

  • Collaborate Globally: Cultivate strong, active collaborations with diverse internal teams, external organizations, and international suppliers, fostering a cohesive and efficient global network.

  • Empower Team Spirit: Partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders, championing collaborative solutions and contributing to a positive, high-performing team environment.

  • Strategic Supplier Vetting: Conduct comprehensive assessments of supplier capabilities (technical, quality, capacity) to ensure they meet Bosch’s strategic needs and long-term vision.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

We are looking for a proactive and strategic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience:
    • Project management experience within a multinational company, preferably in the consumer electronics sector.
    • Proven expertise in supplier management, engaging with ODMs, OEMs, and CMs.
    • Deep understanding and practical experience with electronics assembly processes, spanning from critical sample builds to high-volume mass production.
    • Solid knowledge of embedded electronics; previous experience with HMI/ECU/IoT products is highly advantageous.
  • Know-how:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of implementing effective solutions.
    • Excellent technical communication skills to bridge gaps between internal teams and external partners.
    • Familiarity with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) in manufacturing.
  • Languages:
    • Fluent in spoken and written Portuguese and English.
  • Working Style and Methods:
    • Highly systematic, conscientious, and results-oriented.
    • You are a proactive driver who can manage complex interdependencies and thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Personality:
