We are a global specialty pharmaceutical company that uses biotechnologies to discover and deliver novel medicines. We focus on hard-to-treat diseases where patients lack effective treatments. Our North American operations include offices in Princeton, NJ; Toronto, Canada; and a research facility in La Jolla, CA.

Our specialty medicines treat conditions in nephrology, oncology, immunology & allergy, and neurology. We also focus on Parkinson’s Disease, Central Nervous System, Movement Disorders, Rare Disease, and Hematology. Our expertise is in antibody engineering and optimization.

We have pursued scientific discoveries for over 30 years. Since 2018, our North American organization has received US FDA approval for three first-in-class medicines. From 1984 to 2017, a joint venture with Amgen led to the development of medicines including epoetin alfa, filgrastim, pegfilgrastim, and darbepoetin alfa. We also offer fellowships and internships.
