The Media Manager - Search at Boulevard is a highly visible individual contributor role with meaningful ownership and impact. You will be the architect of Boulevard’s paid search engine - designing strategy, raising performance standards, and unlocking measurable growth that directly moves our business forward. This role is a high-leverage seat at the table: your decisions will shape how we acquire customers, scale efficiently, and build a smarter, innovative, data-driven growth engine.

This role blends hands-on execution with strategic influence. You’ll manage and optimize seven-figure search budgets, with clear accountability for driving business outcomes. You will partner closely with Marketing Operations, SDRs, Content, Finance, and other teams to turn data into smarter investment decisions and unlock new growth through experimentation, automation, and improved systems.

Experience/Skills Needed:

  • 6+ years of hands-on paid search experience with proven results around CPA and ROAS targets
  • Experience managing seven-figure annual search budgets with a strong efficiency,  performance orientation
  • Deep, platform-level expertise in Google Ads, including keyword strategy, bidding, creative testing, and automation
  • A track record operating as a hands-on individual contributor, directly managing campaigns, budgets, and optimizations
  • Strong experience driving performance across multiple or niche industries, applying learnings to new markets
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to diagnose performance issues and identify opportunities to test and improve channel performance
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards, performance reports, and ROI narratives
  • Comfortable partnering with Marketing Operations and Analytics to ensure accurate measurement, attribution, and optimization
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Leadership to align spend and performance with revenue goals

Bonus Experience

  • Experience working at a media agency, executing search campaigns
  • Background in B2B SaaS, vertical SaaS, or multi-location business models
  • Familiarity with attribution modeling, incrementality testing, or advanced experimentation frameworks
  • Experience evaluating and implementing new ad tech, leveraging AI tools and automation to improve efficiency and scale
  • Experience with Looker and HockeyStack or similar platforms

Day-to-day:

  • Manage paid search campaigns across Google Ads and other search platforms

  • Actively allocate and optimize budgets to maximize efficiency and revenue impact

  • Execute ongoing keyword, bidding, creative, and landing page optimizations to improve CPA and ROAS

  • Design and run structured experiments to improve conversion rates and efficiency

  • Monitor performance daily, identifying risks and opportunities tied to ROI and spend

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that clearly communicate performance, trends, and recommendations

  • Partner with Marketing Operations and Analytics to ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and measurement

  • Collaborate cross-functionally and with leadership to align investment with priorities

  • Partner with other members of the growth team to maximize channel impact

  • Identify new opportunities and trends to improve performance through automation, tooling, and process improvements

At Boulevard, we work hard to structure compensation in a way that balances internal equity with local market competitiveness, and we’re happy to share a good-faith estimate of the base salary range for this role. For U.S. based candidates, the anticipated base salary range is $86,500 - $118,000 per year. In addition to this base compensation, this role may be eligible to participate in a variable compensation program. Final compensation will vary based on a variety of factors which include but are not limited to applicable experience, location, and final leveling.
