Our Junior People Operations Specialist plays a supportive role in fulfilling the People Operations Team’s mission to design, continually develop, and reliably deliver People programs, processes, and systems that help grow our business at scale for EMEA - which is crucial because we’re scaling fast! This role helps shape the employee experience for all Boxers by providing efficient world-class service and the thoughtful curation of moments-that-matter in our Boxers’ lives. The Junior People Operations Specialist will have basic knowledge and experience across the key functional HR areas whilst being a culture champion as we continue to grow our community in Warsaw.
This role will report to the Team Manager, People Operations - EMEA with additional support and partnership with the global People & Places team.
What you’ll do:
- Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end new hire onboarding process for the EMEA region, including pre-hire checks, new joiner communication, documentation verification, and orientation coordination.
- HRIS & Data Management: Maintain employee data in HR systems (e.g., Workday) by processing job and personal information changes, conducting regular audits, and ensuring data accuracy.
- Employee Support: Serve as point of contact for employee inquiries via tickets, chat, and email, providing timely support on People-related matters and documenting all interactions.
- Leave & Attendance: Administer attendance and leave processes, assisting employees with time-off requests, tracking, and related inquiries.
- Compliance & Immigration: Provide administrative support for the EMEA immigration program, assist with local compliance tasks, and help organize documentation for audits.
- Offboarding: Assist with basic offboarding tasks to ensure a smooth transition for departing employees.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with global teams, including Payroll, People Partners, Benefits, and Recruiting, to ensure consistent and efficient processes.
- Projects & Process Improvement: Assist to People Operations projects and programs designed to enhance the employee experience and support your professional development.
- Data Reporting: Generate basic people HR reports and assist in data analysis as required.

Who you are:
- Experience: 1+ year of experience in HR administration, personnel management, or Shared Services Center (SSC)
- Process design & ownership: show initiative by bringing fresh ideas and a proactive mindset to help our team succeed
- Attention to detail: produce consistent and accurate deliverables while dealing with a high volume of data & information
- Discretion: operate with discretion, integrity, and respect with engaging with sensitive issues or information
- Adaptability: quickly analyze, understand, and adapt to new situations and business problems
- Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with cross-functional partners and stakeholders across different regions and time zones
- Systems aptitude: Willingness to learn new technologies (i.e. ServiceDesk, Box for HR)
- Languages: You have fluency in both spoken and written English and Polish
- Local knowledge: Familiarity with employment law and practices in Poland is a plus
Nice to have:
- Exposure to Workday or other HRIS systems
- Comfortable working with Excel
- Interest in critical thinking and process improvement
