We digitize medical workflows, from diagnosis to therapy, to improve treatment for clinicians and patients. Our digital ecosystem supports healthcare technology in 6,700 hospitals across 127 countries. We develop image-guided surgery software and platforms, radiotherapy software and hardware, cloud-based image enrichment and sharing, digital O.R. integration, radiosurgery software and hardware, and software and hardware for joint reconstruction, neurosurgery, spine, and trauma.

Using AI, we help healthcare providers create 3D patient-specific models from structured data. These models are the foundation for our navigation systems, which assist clinicians with procedures like removing brain tumors, placing spinal screws, and irradiating breast tumors. We also integrate robotics and mixed reality to link digital and physical environments, and we collect structured long-term data and medical registries.

We use “the neuroscience of play” to improve clinical training and education, helping clinicians adapt to new technology and create digital models of interventions. Our digital ecosystem has open interfaces, encouraging third-party innovation in clinical areas.

We have expanded our portfolio through acquisitions, including Voyant Health (renamed Brainlab Israel), Level Ex, VisionTree, Snke OS (a subsidiary focused on health tech growth), Mint Medical (software for standardized and computer-assisted evaluation of radiological and clinical data), medPhoton (imaging systems for surgery and radiotherapy), and Dr. Langer Medical (intraoperative neuromonitoring solutions).

Our founder, Stefan Vilsmeier, said we aim to support everyone fighting life-threatening diseases by introducing innovative digital technologies that lead to better patient outcomes.
