Bulk Handling Systems (BHS) is headquartered in Eugene, Oregon. We specialize in designing, engineering, manufacturing, and installing sorting systems and components. We serve the solid waste, recycling, waste-to-energy, and construction and demolition industries worldwide.
We operate with wholly-owned subsidiaries: Nihot in Amsterdam, NRT in Nashville, Tennessee, and Zero Waste Energy, also in Eugene, Oregon. We also developed Max-AI® technology, an artificial intelligence system that identifies materials, makes intelligent decisions, and directs equipment like robotic sorters. We have built Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) that achieve high throughput, recovery, and purity rates.
Our Regional Service Specialists provide pre- and post-sales support, on-site education, preventive maintenance recommendations, and parts solutions. They collaborate with our R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams and are subject matter experts on BHS, Nihot, NRT, ZWE, and Controls.
